We see some magic and a delicious Frappuccino in your future! The Crystal Ball Frappuccino officially drops tomorrow, March 22nd and is available at participating Starbucks locations in the US and Canada for a limited time.

So what is this mystical beverage made of you ask?

The Crystal Ball Frappuccino is:

  • Marbled with gem drizzle
  • Made with peach tea infusion
  • Topped with peach whipped cream and candy gem topping in your color choice of purple, blue or green.

Top it with purple gems, aka “magic” where “wonder and exchantment are headed your way. Also owls”.

Or choose blue gems, aka “adventure” where you “better pack a snack today. Maybe an umbrella”.

You can also top your Crystal Ball Frappuccino with green gems, aka “luck” so hopefully “wherever you go, good fortune will follow”.

Whatever you choose, the Frappuccino is said to taste like peaches and cream with a little mystical pizzazz added in. So, are you after magic, adventure, or luck? You decide!

Officially, the mystical Frappuccino is available until March 26th or until supplies last. If you do end up a fan, we suggest trying that Starbucks in your area that never seems too busy, or perhaps that Starbucks that’s a little out of the way but gets much less foot traffic for the best chances of scoring one after the 26th.

Starbucks Happy Hour 2018

**Frappuccino Happy Hour is back June 21st starting at 3pm to close. Get 50% off a Frappuccino® blended beverage, size grande or larger.

Starbucks Frappuccino Happy Hour is a bit different this year than the usual 10 day long promotion in previous years.

The first Frappuccino Happy Hour of 2018 will be on May 3rd from 3pm to close at participating Starbucks locations in the US and Canada.

Since 2010, Starbucks has had a yearly promotion that features half off Frappuccinos in late April/early May. The promo was previously valid for 10 days, usually between 2-5pm.

This year however, Starbucks has extended Happy Hour beyond just Frappuccinos to include offers on other beverages including espresso, iced teas and more. And instead of a week and a half promotion, these offers will be one day at a time but extended throughout the year. So, you’ll actually have more opportunities for half off drinks than just the usual 10 days allows. The kicker is that the event is invitation only – but to receive an invite, all you need to do is sign up here: https://happyhour.starbucks.com/

A plus is that Happy Hour this year is valid from 3pm to close. So that definitely allows for more flexibility for those getting off work or school later in the day!

Unfortunately, a big change this year is that the half off offer is listed as one per person. The offer is presented as a code you must present to the cashier, though the code is generic. While the offer states one per person, there’s not much to stop you from going in to redeem the offer multiple times throughout the day unless you hit a snag with a Starbucks location that is a stickler for the rules.

We actually think it’s rather unfortunate that Starbucks is limiting this offer to one per person as one of the highlights of Frappuccino Happy Hour was being able to pick up multiple Frappuccinos for the office, friends or classmates. We also noted that during the promotion, many people would purchase several Frappuccinos. Hopefully Starbucks opens up future Happy Hour promotions to allow customers to purchase more than just one at a time. It promotes the spirit of giving, after all.

There’s a new limited time Frappuccino available and it may just be the most over-the-top limited time offering yet. Why you ask? Like its predecessors, the Unicorn Frappuccino and Zombie Frappuccino, the newest addition, the Christmas Tree Frappuccino is a beverage that aside from satisfying your taste buds, seems to have been created for the purpose of gracing Instagram feeds everywhere. And we’re sure that it will.

The base portion of the beverage is a Peppermint Mocha Crème Frappuccino, one of the more time tested popular holiday offers. The Christmas Tree portion of the drink is made with Matcha Whipped cream and decorated with a garland of caramel drizzle, candied cranberry ornaments and topped with a strawberry tree topper!

Excited yet? The Christmas Tree Frappuccino is available at Starbucks locations starting today but act fast as it’ll only be an official menu item until Monday December 11. So, even though the weather outside may be frightful , the Christmas Tree Frappuccino is so delightful that you’ll have no place to go but your closest Starbucks to scoop one of these up!

  • Eggnog Chai Latte
  • No water
  • Add peppermint syrup – 1 pump tall, 2 pumps grande, 3 pumps venti

Toasted White Chocolate Mocha & Chestnut Praline Chai Tea Latte

Starbucks has introduced two new drinks for the 2017 holiday season! Stop into your local store to try the new Toasted White Chocolate Mocha which consists of:

  • Signature espresso poured over toasted white chocolate mocha sauce
  • Followed by steamed milk
  • Topped with whipped cream and a candied cranberry sugar

The toasted aspect of the beverage is created by slowly roasting white chocolate to brown the cocoa butter and caramelize the milk and sugar thereby deepening the flavor and brining on nutty notes that linger as you sip on the beverage, according to Starbucks.

The Toasted White Chocolate Mocha is available hot, iced or as a Frappuccino this holiday season until supplies last.

Also available is the Chestnut Praline Chai Tea Latte made with:

  • Chestnut Praline syrup with lightly sweetened chai and steamed milk
  • Topped with spiced praline crumbs

A holiday twist on the classic Chai Tea Latte, the beverage begins with black tea infused with warming spices that pair perfectly with the caramelized chestnut notes, creating a warm and comforting beverage full of holiday flair.

Enjoy the Chestnut Praline Chai Tea Latte hot or iced.

This Halloween, in addition to the popular Zombie Frappuccino, Starbucks locations in the UK, Singapore, Sweden and Norway are celebrating the spooky occasion with special Mr and Mrs Vampire Frappuccinos! But fear not US and Canadian friends! We have recipes for both that can be ordered across North America.

While the pair are only officially available for a limited time run until October 31, note that the ingredients are available year round and you can enjoy a Mr Vampire Frappuccino or a Mrs Vampire Frappuccino any time you’d like. You’ll just have to order it by recipe.

Quite fittingly for the occasion, the drinks are chocolate flavored with a dash of bloody fun in the form of strawberry sauce drizzle. According to Starbucks, this frightfully fun drink is the perfect indulgence to enjoy the spooking season!

It’s that time of year again! Scary movies are out in theater, goriness is in and Halloween treats grace the end caps of store shelves.

Starbucks is no different and for the past few years has been known for its limited run Halloween themed Frappuccinos, like the Franken Frappuccino and Frappula Frappuccino.

This year, they’re going all out with the Zombie Frappuccino and after a very successful run of the Unicorn Frappuccino this summer, we think the Zombie Frappuccino will be a huge hit too! After all, with the popularity of The Walking Dead we think fans will welcome a chance to sip on some “brains”.

The recipe is rumored to be Green Caramel Apple flavored and consist of:

  • Green Caramel Apple Powder
  • Pink powder
  • Pink “brains” whipped cream
  • Pink dark mocha drizzle

The Zombie Frappuccino is definitely unlike any Frappuccino before with new flavors and ingredients being introduced just for the limited edition drink.

There hasn’t been an official announcement from Starbucks yet but the beverage will be available starting October 26th until October 31st.

As usual, if you find a lower traffic Starbucks location, you’ll likely be able to enjoy a Zombie Frappuccino even after the promotional period if your location still has ingredients on hand. It’s worth asking!

It the movie seems to have taken the world by storm this Halloween! The white faced clown with red hair holding a red balloon was met with great reviews and much popularity and we’re sure we’ll be seeing the costume a lot this season!

While we weren’t brave enough to watch the movie ourselves, we did give this It Frappuccino a try and love the combination as a less scary and more tasty Halloween treat.

We’re in full fall mode with Pumpkin Spice on the mind!

Coconutmilk Mocha Macchiato (what a tongue twister!) lovers, the Coconutmilk Pumpkin Macchiato is a must try! It’s so good that we think it should make it onto the regular menu. Coconut, pumpkin and espresso may not be a combination that you’d think would work, but the three go together beautifully and deliciously!

Just a simple change to the mocha version and this beverage has quickly become one of our fall favorites.

Enjoy it hot or iced, we’re sure it’ll soon become one of your favorites too!
