Peanut Butter Cup Frappuccino | Starbucks Secret Menu
There are some flavors that go together well and then there are some that were MADE for each other, like peanut butter and chocolate.
While Starbucks doesn’t actually carry peanut butter and not all locations will blend food items into their beverages, the use of the toffee nut syrup in this recipe mimics the flavoring required for a nutty and chocolaty contrast that is oh so heavenly! Give it a try and dare we say you should grab a peanut butter cup cookie to enjoy on the side?
Here’s the recipe:
• Mocha Frappuccino
• Add toffee nut syrup (2 pumps tall, 3 grande, 4 venti)
• Made with soy instead of whole milk
• Add whip and top with mocha drizzle
Apparently, peanut butter and chocolate go so well together that studies have actually been done to prove why we love this combination so much. According to Dynamic Sensory Contrast, our taste buds go crazy when contrasting flavors are paired together. So, the smoothness of chocolate along with the nutty, salty flavor of peanut butter is a pair that will be together for the ages which is awesome for us peanut butter cup lovers!
