Honeycomb Frappuccino | Starbucks Secret Menu

the honeycomb frappuccino

Honeycomb Frappuccino | Starbucks Secret Menu

Honey is loved for its natural sweetness and distinct flavor. It has many health benefits, so it’s no surprise honey is considered a superfood.

Many use it as an alternative sweetener for their tea or in baking, but we think it should be the main star here!

But just because it’s the main star doesn’t mean you need a lot. As any honey lover knows, a little goes a long way with this sticky delight so we’re keeping this Frappuccino sweet and simple.

Here’s the recipe:

  • Creme base White Mocha Frappuccino
  • Add honey packets (1 tall, 2 grande, 3 venti)

Popeye Tea | Starbucks Secret Menu

Popeye Tea | Starbucks Secret Menu

If you’re looking for a pick me up that’s more about hydration and low in sugar, try our new Popeye Tea! It’ll give you that boost of energy just like Popeye’s spinach.

While this beverage certainly has spinach coloring, there are no veggies involved in the making of this drink, so fear not if you’re not a spinach fan.

No need to worry about calories with this one either! A Venti is only 50 calories!

Here’s the recipe:

  • Unsweetened iced green tea
  • Add matcha powder (1 scoop tall, 1.5 grande, 2 venti)
  • Blend

Blending the beverage gives it a nice foamy consistency and helps to cut the bitterness in the matcha.

Shirley Temple | Starbucks Secret Menu

Shirley Temples are one of the most popular mocktails out there. For good reason too! They look and taste fantastic.

Most variations of the Shirley Temple are made with ale, but for those of you without a Fizzio machine at your local Starbucks, we have a non-ale version that tastes just as good!

How to order:

  • Orange Mango Lemonade (strawberry lemonade made with orange mango)
  • Blend
  • Add one pump of raspberry syrup affogato on top

How to order (ale):

  • Orange Mango Lemonade, made with half lemonade, half lemon ale
  • Blend
  • Add one pump of raspberry syrup affogato on top

Starbucks Secret Menu: The Pink Starburst Frappuccino

Not all Starburst flavors are created equal. Some like red, some like pink, some like it all and that’s the fun of it!

If you’re in the mood for something sweet, this blended beverage looks and tastes delightful, much like it’s sister beverage The Red Starburst.

  • Add Raspberry Syrup (1/2 pump tall, 1 pump grande, 1.5 pumps venti)
  • Add Vanilla Syrup (3 pumps tall, 3.5 pumps grande, 4 pumps venti)
  • Add ice and blend with whipped cream
  • Top with additional whip and enjoy!

Starbucks Secret Menu: The Coldbuster

Starbucks Secret Menu: The Coldbuster

It’s flu season, and I think it’s safe to say that we all hate the sniffling, sneezing, and congestion that comes with it. The Coldbuster, also known as “The Medicine Ball” will sooth sore throats and sinuses should the unfortunate come your way.

It incorporates a handful of cold remedies, all put together in a steaming hot cup of tea. So if you’re feeling under the weather, give this remedy a try.

**With the change to Teavana Tea instead of the old Tazo teas, we recommend subbing the Refresh and Calm Tea Bags with Peach Tranquility & Jade Citrus Mint.

Here’s the recipe:

  • Venti Cup w/ a bag of Jade Citrus Mint Tea and a bag of Peach Tranquility Tea
  • Add half hot water and half steamed lemonade
  • Add a little honey for its anti-microbial effects
  • Optional: Add a pump of peppermint

Barista and recipe creator, Matthew L. recommends sipping the drink while it is as hot as you can handle, as it will be the most soothing when hot. Make sure not to burn yourself though, drink at the temperature you feel comfortable with.

Thanks to Matthew L. for sharing this secret recipe on his blog and with us! If you have a secret recipe you’d like to see on the site, send it in to starbuckssecretmenu [at] gmail.com and we’ll add it to the list!

Also known as a “Coldbuster,” or what I like to call it, a “Calm Balm.” This drink will sooth sore throats and sinuses. It is a venti cup with a bag of Refresh (mint) and a bag of Calm (chamomile) with about half hot water and half steamed lemonade. (I don’t recommend full lemonade. The water helps the tea steep better, tastes better, is hotter, and healthier.) Add a little honey for its anti-microbial effects. If you really want to clear the sinuses too, add a pump of peppermint. You’ll want to sip this drink as hot as possible and drink the whole thing. – See more at: http://www.mybrainblinks.com/2013/10/19/functional-secret-menu-drinks-starbucks/#sthash.CAKtMMXt.dpuf

Raspberry Chocolate Dream Frappuccino | Starbucks Secret Menu

raspberry chocolate dream frappuccino

Raspberry Chocolate Dream Frappuccino | Starbucks Secret Menu

Raspberry and chocolate are one of those combinations that seem like they were meant to be. The tartness of the raspberry compliments the sweetness in chocolate so wonderfully, you’d mistake it for a party in your mouth.

There’s no mistaking this Raspberry Chocolate Dream Frappuccino though. It’s a tasty, dessert like treat that’ll take care of that sweet tooth!

Here’s the recipe:

  • Vanilla Bean Frappuccino
  • Add rasbperry syrup (2 pumps tall, 3 grande, 4 venti)
  • Add white mocha sauce (2 pumps tall, 3 grande, 4 venti)
  • Add cinnamon dolce syrup (1 pump tall, 1.5 grande, 2 venti)
  • Add java chips
  • Top with mocha drizzle and half a pump of raspberry

As is the case with most of our secret beverages, this recipe will also work well with half the syrup additions if you prefer your beverage less sweet.
