It the movie seems to have taken the world by storm this Halloween! The white faced clown with red hair holding a red balloon was met with great reviews and much popularity and we’re sure we’ll be seeing the costume a lot this season!

While we weren’t brave enough to watch the movie ourselves, we did give this It Frappuccino a try and love the combination as a less scary and more tasty Halloween treat.

Interested in giving this spooky slushy beverage a try?

Here’s the recipe:

  • Vanilla Bean Frappuccino
  • Top with strawberry purée and whipped cream

Simple to order and luckily for us, available all year round! You’ll love IT! (pun intended)

Coconutmilk Pumpkin Macchiato | Starbucks Secret Menu

Coconutmilk Pumpkin Macchiato

Coconutmilk Pumpkin Macchiato | Starbucks Secret Menu

We’re in full fall mode with Pumpkin Spice on the mind!

Coconutmilk Mocha Macchiato (what a tongue twister!) lovers, the Coconutmilk Pumpkin Macchiato is a must try! It’s so good that we think it should make it onto the regular menu. Coconut, pumpkin and espresso may not be a combination that you’d think would work, but the three go together beautifully and deliciously!

Just a simple change to the mocha version and this beverage has quickly become one of our fall favorites.

Enjoy it hot or iced, we’re sure it’ll soon become one of your favorites too!

Here’s the recipe:

  • Coconutmilk Mocha Macchiato
  • Made with Pumpkin Spice Syrup instead of white mocha syrup
  • Top with Pumpkin Spice topping

Cherry Blossom Frappuccino | Starbucks Secret Menu

Starbucks Cherry Blossom Frappuccino

Cherry Blossom Frappuccino | Starbucks Secret Menu

Some of you might remember the Cherry Blossom Frappuccino or perhaps the Sakura Frappuccino available only in Starbucks Japan locations. While the Cherry Blossom Frappuccino was modeled after the Sakura Frappuccino, it’s not exactly the same as unfortunately, we don’t have the Sakura flakes here in North America.

Nevertheless, the Cherry Blossom Frappuccino tastes great in its own right and even though it was a limited time Frappuccino offered for 5 days, you can actually order it all year round as the ingredients are still available, yay!

Here’s the recipe:

  • Strawberries and Crème Frappuccino
  • Line the cup with drizzle made from white mocha sauce and matcha powder
  • Top with whipped cream and matcha powder

*Note: There was some controversy surrounding the Cherry Blossom Frappuccino as Starbucks goers learned that the beverage did not contain any cherry flavor or ingredients.

In Starbucks’ official news release, they noted that: “ in Japan, cherry blossoms are the national flower and a symbol of renewal and simplicity.” And go on to mentioned how it’s a tradition to gather under the trees and enjoy the company of friends, family and colleagues. The blossoming of the trees marks the coming of spring, a time for new beginnings and the start of a new school year. Hence, the name of the Frappuccino refers more to the symbolic nature of cherry blossom trees rather than the literal term of the word cherry itself.

Peanut Butter Cup Frappuccino | Starbucks Secret Menu

Peanut Butter Cup Frappuccino

Peanut Butter Cup Frappuccino | Starbucks Secret Menu

There are some flavors that go together well and then there are some that were MADE for each other, like peanut butter and chocolate.

While Starbucks doesn’t actually carry peanut butter and not all locations will blend food items into their beverages, the use of the toffee nut syrup in this recipe mimics the flavoring required for a nutty and chocolaty contrast that is oh so heavenly! Give it a try and dare we say you should grab a peanut butter cup cookie to enjoy on the side?

Here’s the recipe:

• Mocha Frappuccino
• Add toffee nut syrup (2 pumps tall, 3 grande, 4 venti)
• Made with soy instead of whole milk
• Add whip and top with mocha drizzle

Apparently, peanut butter and chocolate go so well together that studies have actually been done to prove why we love this combination so much. According to Dynamic Sensory Contrast, our taste buds go crazy when contrasting flavors are paired together. So, the smoothness of chocolate along with the nutty, salty flavor of peanut butter is a pair that will be together for the ages which is awesome for us peanut butter cup lovers!

Piña Colada Frappuccino | Starbucks Secret Menu

Piña Colada Frappuccino | Starbucks Secret Menu

The drink of the summer is here! While the Teavana Shaken Iced Pina Colada Tea Infusion was officially released a few of days ago, sometimes a regular iced drink just doesn’t cut it on a blazing hot summer’s day. Ergo, the Piña Colada Frappuccino.

Refreshingly tropical, everyday will feel like Friyay with an icy Piña Colada Frappuccino in your hand.

The best news? With the addition of coconut milk to the menu in the last couple of year and the recent addition of pineapple tea, you can enjoy a Piña Colada Frappuccino anytime, any season, all year round!

Here’s the recipe:

  • Crème Frappuccino with coconut milk to the first line
  • Pineapple infusion tea to the second line
  • Add extra ice and and extra pump of crème base

For those who enjoy vanilla flavor with their Pina Colada (like Pina Colada milkshakes!) we have an alternate recipe:

Starbucks Violet Drink

This summer’s lineup of new Starbucks drinks not only look beautiful, but were created to spread a simple message – to be kind.

The brightly colored Violet Drink is part of the Cups of Kindness Collection in partnership with Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation. Starbucks is generously donating 25 cents from each one sold at participating Starbucks stores in the US and Canada until June 19th. The funds raised will go to support youth wellness and empowerment programs.

So what’s in the violet drink?

The recipe is:

  • Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher
  • Made with coconut milk and ice
  • Scoops of blackberries

The Violet Drink is rather similar to the Pink Drink and Purple Drink but with a slightly different flavor profile. If you’re a fan of either of last summer’s hottest drinks you’ll love the violet drink. Even better, if you end up loving it you’ll be happy to hear it’s now a permanent addition to the official Starbucks menu.

Starbucks Ombre Pink Drink

The Ombré Pink Drink is the newest drink to hit the summer lineup of beautiful brightly hued beverages. It’s a combination of the Instagram sensation turned permanent menu item, the Pink Drink and passion iced tea. When unmixed, they create a bright pink to light pink ombré effect that will have you reaching for your phone quicker than you can get that wrapper off your green Starbucks straw.

Here’s the recipe:

  • Pink Drink
  • Topped passion iced tea

Shortly after hitting the Instagram scene, the Ombré Pink Drink was added to the official menu. This version of the Ombré Pink Drink is made slightly differently than the original Instagram version.

Here’s the official recipe:

  • Cool Lime Refresher made with coconut milk (no water)
  • Top with passion tea

As part of the Cups of Kindness collection and in collaboration with Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation, the Ombré Pink Drink is being highlighted as a featured beverage. Starbucks is generously donating 25 cents from each one sold at participating Starbucks stores in the US and Canada until June 19th.
