Starbucks Matcha & Espresso Fusion | US & Canada Recipe!

Starbucks Matcha & Espresso Fusion | US & Canada Recipe!

Starbucks Matcha & Espresso Fusion was developed for Asian markets but you’ve probably seen photos of the beautifully colored beverage all over Instagram and social media.

Good news for us is that several talented Baristas have tried to replicate the beverage here in the US and Canada and come up with a way that we can enjoy the Matcha and Espresso Fusion too!

Here’s the recipe:

  • Start with standard scoops of matcha powder mixed with a little bit of water to eliminate chunks
  • Add Ice
  • Add choice of milk
  • Add affogato shots (1-2)

We’re told that in order to preserve the layering of colors in the beverage, it needs to be made quite specifically in the order listed above. It can be a bit tricky for a first timer so please have patience with your Barista.  If they aren’t familiar with the Matcha and Espresso Fusion and what it should look like, it may be helpful to show them a photo.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie Frappuccino | Starbucks Secret Menu

Our weakness for Pumpkin Spice anything is only outweighed by our weakness for chocolate chip anything! Put the two together and we have a recipe that’s almost impossible to say no to.

The Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie Frappuccino combines two of our favorite flavors into one cup of sweet, delicious pumpkiny and chocolaty goodness.

Enjoy as long as your local Starbucks has Pumpkin Spice in stock this season!

Here’s the recipe:

  • Pumpkin Spice Crème Frappuccino
  • Add mocha sauce (1 pump tall, 1 ½ grande, 2 venti)
  • Add 1 scoop of java chips (2 for venti)
  • Add cinnamon dolce syrup (1 pump tall, 1 ½ grande, 2 venti)

Too cold for a Frappuccino? You can order this recipe in latte form as well! Just exclude the java chips.

Pumpkin Chile Frappuccino | Starbucks Secret Menu

Pumpkin Chile Frappuccino

Pumpkin Chile Frappuccino | Starbucks Secret Menu

This fall, Starbucks spiced up their menu with the Chile Mocha. It features spice from a touch of cayenne pepper and the ancho, a heart-shaped pepper with mild heat and a sweet fruity flavor.

If you haven’t tried the chocolate and chile combo before, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to know that the two pair together unexpectedly well!

And of course, fall marks the return of the beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte, a classic that we look forward to every year. We love mixing old and new so try the Pumpkin Chile Frappuccino and get the best of both fall drinks with this extra spice infused combo.

Here’s the recipe:

  • Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino
  • Add chili mocha powder (2 for tall, 3 for grande, 4 for Venti)
  • Add white mocha (1/2 for tall, 1 for grande, 1.5 for Venti)
  • Top with whip and add chili + pumpkin topping

Thanks to Shift Supervisor Dan of Starbucks in Wynnwood, PA for sharing this delicious recipe! If you have a secret recipe you’d like to see featured, send it in at Starbucks Secret Menu [at] gmail.com. Attach a photo if you have one 🙂

Churro Frappuccino | Starbucks Secret Menu

Oh the churro. We have a special love for this deep fried treat. Not only is it delicious, it’s easy to eat without creating a huge mess of yourself, not counting cinnamon sugar covered lips of course.

We may have made the excuse once or twice to visit Costco just to grab one.  But c’mon, $1 for a huge cinnamon sugar covered treat? Who can resist!

This Starbucks version is every bit as delicious. Made with lots of cinnamon, this sweet Frappuccino is perfect for any Churro lover.

How to order:

  • Vanilla Bean Frappuccino
  • Add cinnamon dolce syrup (1 pump tall, 1.5 grande, 2 venti)
  • Add white mocha syrup (1 pump tall, 1.5 grande, 2 venti)
  • Add cinnamon
  • Top with whipped cream, caramel drizzle and cinnamon

Starbucks Secret Menu isn’t limited to just drinks, you can even hack an oatmeal bowl and make it into a delicious all-in-one breakfast treat.

Perfect for breakfast on to go, the oatmeal latte combines nutritious grains with your favorite toppings and espresso to start your day with a kick.

How to order the Oatmeal Latte:

  • Order an oatmeal bowl
  • Made with steamed milk instead of water (we recommend soy or almond for an extra tasty treat)
  • Add 1 or 2 shots of espresso
  • Let cook for a few minutes
  • Top with toppings of choice

*If your Barista is unable to add the espresso shots for you, you can always order them separately and pour them on top yourself.

Think of the oatmeal latte like an all-in-one breakfast for those who are short on time or need something portable. It’s a great alternative to a smoothie when you’re looking for something more satiating!
